spring sprinter playlist

1 – start me up – the stones – a great muscle warmer,
2 – the grey estates – wolf parade – tune for a city boy like myself weaving out to the lanes
3 – ice cream – battles – tune particularly good for indoor training
4 – sure shot – beasties – don't stop!
5 – go with the flow – queens – or at least try too
6 – black mountain side – led zep – for all those hills out there
7 – zig zag wanderer – capt beefheart – uphill only
8 – goin' against your mind – built to spill – man up!
9 – mexican grand prix – Mogwai – i'll take you on a tail race
10 – your heart out – the fall – spin your heart out
11 – the glow pt 2 – microphones – too soon to talk tan lines
12 – i think i found it –msp – cheesy riff but heart warming
13 – oh dear handlebars – marmoset – we've all been there
14 – neighbours – the bats – what will the neighbours say? when they see me returning home in lycra panting and smiling, like i know something they don't, which of course i do.

i don't condone those who wear phones while riding, never mind the dangers, why create an artificial sense around yourself. The buzz of the tyres should be enough. if you can't hear them you're not riding fast enough. This playlist is merely put together for;
(a) this wet weekend and happens to be the right length for an intense turbo (my version is in itunes),
(b) to celebrate and reminisce the grand riding last few weeks has had and ps sorry its not one continuous playlist – stupid soundcloud

my first TT

5th and first place machines respectively – and quoting Ben on the cross bike "who brought the gun to the knife fight" shows the class of the group that the guy who came 5th was on his cross/commuter mudguards, lights, rack et al.
And after i wiped all that snot, spit and tears from my face – had a nice cuppa tea.
